In your role as Senior Consultant in Financial Services, you'll lead client projects, mentor junior team members, and develop tailored SAP applications. Your expertise in SAP, SQL, and financial services will be crucial as you engage with clients, analyze their requirements, and build lasting relationships. Your Tasks at Adweko

  • Lead Client Engagement Workstreams: Oversee client projects independently, refining delivery approaches to ensure high-quality work products with minimal supervision from experienced team members.
  • Mentorship and Training: Guide and train junior team members, nurturing their skills and knowledge within the financial services domain.
  • Client Analysis and Reporting: Analyze and document client business and technical requirements, examining client data sets and generating concise summary reports.
  • SAP Application Development: Design, build, and configure SAP applications/tools (SAP FPSL) tailored to client specifications. Develop subledger solutions using cutting-edge software technology.
  • Engagement Management and Relationship Building: Manage client engagements meticulously, monitoring progress, identifying and escalating risks, and updating clients and internal stakeholders on project advancements and expected outcomes. Cultivate relationships with client delivery stakeholders, staying abreast of current trends in the financial services industry.

These Skills you bring along

  • Bachelor’s degree in economics, information technology, business administration, mathematics, or equivalent education. Master’s degree in finance, economics or banking is a plus.
  • Several years of relevant consulting or corporate experience, preferably in SAP Financial Services industry and/or in the banking sector
  • Experience across all project phases (fit/gap, design, implementation, test, rollout, production support)
  • Experience in data modelling, database design, ETL development, reporting design is a plus
  • Proven experience in SQL and SAP ABAP
  • Good level of english spoken and written (German skills are a plus) 
  • Nice to have: Hands-on experience in SAP Bank Analyzer 8.0 – 9.0; Experience with SAP BW
