Principal Consultant (m/f/d) SAP Financial Services Industry

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Principal Consultant within our consulting division, you will be responsible for leading client engagements, supporting business development, and own aspects of business operations. On engagements, you will lead teams of junior technical consultants from across the globe to support our clients and partners through large scale finance transformations. You will design and implement solutions for our clients most difficult problems. As a key leader of our delivery teams, you will be pivotal to delivering the quality of work and professionalism our clients and partners expect of ADWEKO. You will also support ADWEKO leadership throughout the sales cycle. As a growing company, we all pitch in to keep us running. You will support management to administer engagements, recruit people, and manage various other aspects of business operations.

  • Lead client engagement workstreams with limited support from experience resources and continually improve engagement delivery approaches for producing high quality work products 
  • Mentor and train junior resources
  • Analyzing and documenting client business and technical requirements
  • Analyzing client data sets and producing summary reports (BEX, WEBI, WAD)
  • Design and configuring of SAP applications (e.g., S/4, FPSL, FSDM, PaPM etc.) to client specifications
  • SAP Bank Analyzer IFMA, AFI implementation and CRE Analysis
  • End to End Implementation of IFMA and AFI
  • Designing and developing ETL and reporting solutions leveraging the latest software technology
  • Design and creation of testing scenarios and expected outcomes, execution, and documentation of testing results (e.g., system integration, user acceptance, performance) 
  • Support leadership in client account management, business development and subject matter initiatives
  • Establishing relationships with client delivery stakeholders 
  • Manage client engagements by monitoring progress, identifying & escalating risks and updating client and internal on progress and expected outcomes
  • Understand current business and industry trends in the SAP financial services industry

Salary: 110,000 CAD - 130,000 CAD annually for 40 hours per week.

Work Location: Calgary/Alberta


 

REQUIREMENTS

We are looking for individuals who will help shape and define the company - people who question things and want to make a difference. We are after consultants interested in the conception and technical implementation of complex IT solutions in the area of SAP Financial Services.

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, mathematics, or equivalent education
  • Minimum ten (10) years of relevant experience in the financial services industry – especially in the field of SAP Bank Analyzer SAP BI/ BW, SAP ABAP, and BOBJ
  • SAP Bank Analyzer IFMA, AFI implementation and CRE Analysis
  • Strong analytical and demonstrated problem-solving skills
  • Proven experience in data modelling, database design, ETL development, reporting design, and DLL loads
  • Experience in ETL, DLL and SDL Config within SAP Bank Analyzer on both 7.0 and BA 8.5 versions
  • Proven experience in SQL; knowledge of SQL-Script or ABAP 
  • Experience with Big Data technologies
  • Very good knowledge in BEX,WEBI,WAD
  • Solid accounting knowledge
  • Proven experience within Banking /insurance industry
  • Proven experience with ABAP programming and knowledge of SQL scripting
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills 
  • Proficient with MS Office, including MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint 
  • Effective organization and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure and adhere to project deadlines
  • Language skills: proficient in the English language, including the ability to listen, understand, read and communicate effectively both in writing and verbally in a professional environment

We are currently not travelling due to COVID-19, thus, the work is currently performed remotely in Calgary/Alberta, but coordinated through our head office in Toronto (First Canadian Place, 100 King Street West). However. the role may require up to 80% travel when it is appropriate to do so.
